Stones #22 – Stonefal

stonewalls and windfalls

Would you like to support a good cause and own one of my tapestries at the same time? I have donated one of the tapestries in my Stones and Stonewall Series for a raffle  to support the programs at Temple Sholom. This is Stonewall #22 – Stonefall taken from a photo of a wall in Caesarea, Israel.

Through the years I have returned again and again to images of stone walls built from undressed stones, carefully constructed but without mortar. If these walls collapse, they will resume their place on the earth without traces of man’s intervention.
